This might be running a Myers Briggs Type Indicator development day to help your team understand their personal style and strengths and also their collective blindsides. MBTI is a great lense to look at how the team members differ in their approach to communications, team working, problem solving and dealing with pressure and stress.
We have helped many clients develop self awareness insight into their leadership and management style through using OPQ, FIRO-B and Strength Deployment Inventory or understand and work with their “over-done” strengths, using the Hogan suite. Senior leaders have found an understanding of Emotional Intelligence enormously useful through exploring their responses to the ESCI.
At the other end of the spectrum we have worked with young people entering the job market for the first time and used Strong Interest Inventory to clarify motivation for different career options.
